Dominick Clerico in my opinion is the leading modernist producer in Barolo today.
I think Clerico is the leading producer in Piedmont today
When made right in a good year, there is no better wine than the great Barolo!!!!
I beg to differ I think it is Paolo Scavino hand down.
Clerico is great the best part is that they get 95+ on a regular basis from parker and the prices stay under 100. Can’t say that for a lot of producers.
Piendmont is beautiful, have you had Elio Altare tremendous barolo’s
Italy will win the cup this year, mark my words…..
