Great meeting you at the boston wine expo. i also thought it was just average. It is the last time that I go. Looking forward to your posting of interview with Zraly.
Sweet posting, wanted to go but was out of town….good to know I did not miss much. Did they pour any 2008 wines as well or only 2007? Are you drinking 2008 in Bx now? 2009 from barrell?
Nice review, this is really bad news for bordeaux
I am holding off and just buying 2008’s.
IT seems that Pontet Canet has reached another level. If the 2007 prices drop it might make sense to buy some of the better wines.
That is scary with 2005’s still available and 08,09 solid vintages who would ever buy the 2007’s?
Thanks for this update, great job
I was here and did not see you? I was also very unimpressed.
I was wondering around…filmed a few shows. Next time…

Great to meet you as well, Zraly interview should be up at end of week.
Can’t wait for your trip to bordeaux to see what 2008 looks like in your opinion.
What wines were better overall the left or right bank?
I can’t say one stood out….each of them had there ups and down and lot more downs….I liked figeac, pontet conet, pape clement and a few others.
Parker has been going crazy over Pape Clement recently , seems like their 2007 is worth it.

All 2007’s, I tasted mainly 08 from the barrel and few 09’s that were just blended.
