Tremendous interview, I loved reading about him in Noble rot.
I can’t decide weather to buy 08’s or hold off and buy a lot of 09’s.
He seems like a really nice guy. I am going to buy some of the La Fleur. I think I might also buy some 07’s if the prices drop low enough.
That looked like a lot of fun what other 09’s did you taste?
Some of the better one’s were Fleur Cardinale.Fonplegade,Corbin-Depagne,Marzelle,Clos L’Eglise,Le Moulin, Rol Valentin, Dalem…..
The noble rot was awesome, sound like Reynaud is a controversial figure in Bordeaux. Great interview.
Well Done Chis, can’t wait for the report from the en primeurs.
Tremendous interview. I really enjoyed the discussion on 09 price impact and outlook!
Will you be doing a live tasting from France any time soon?
I would be very suprised if the 09’s are less expensive than the 08’s.
Great interview…Are you really going to Bordeaux to taste the ’09s
What was most impressive out of the wines?
The 2 that come to my mind are La fleur de gay and fleur cardinale
Were there high level of alcohol in these wines? Were they over extracted?
La Fleur De Gay with Alain Reynaud! I love it! Chris, you never cease to amaze me! Keep up the good work.

Very solid interview. We will see what happens with the pricing. I just don’t see 09 not going way up.
There is NO way the 09’s will be below the price of 08’s NO WAY
Yes they will. With the economy and wine market the way it is now they have to lower prices.
