Nice article on PTV view the article here

I think in recent years Durcu has been one of the most consistent wines on the market.
Very interesting converstion, Jeff is tough to hear.
Love Ducru the 08 is a great buy at 98!!
You now hit everyone from noble rot…great work
No respect! Can we please get some quiet time here
So how much per bottle once it gets here?
We will see. the 08 is about $96. If I were to guess I would say $150.
The glasses were a little loud but I really enjoyed the show. Keep them coming.
150 I am thinking closer to 200 but I really hope not!!
WHo would buy at 200 if you can get an 08 at 100, the 05’s have also come down. I find it hard to beleive we are talking 200.
Great show Chris, a little tough to hear but great info.
Super seconds is the place to look forget about pricing of the 1st growths
Beautiful insight into the negociant price discussions. Watching this video the only thing I could think of is how are the French going to reach a new generation of wine consumers. They really need to reinvent themselves. The stuffy guy in the cellar, the sense of private exclusive drinking is a mistake for the future. Negociant is dead, that is why some En Primuer houses are closing shop. Next trip is to New Zealand not France, it just seems hip, fresh and exciting. Just don’t know too many under forty looking to buy futures. I’ll buy a few here and there but it’s just something I’ve done, sometimes don’t even know why. 2009 30% higher than 2005, I will not participate. I even see 2005s all over the place for a significant discount.
Chris, cool video series from France would be a look at some new young up and coming wine makers who are battling the current system. Those guys and gals have to be out there. Would be interesting to hear their view and vision of French wine in the future.
Hey Jake, Super Seconds are now bargin either. Most in poor vintages are flabby and unexciting. Give me a first growth California for the same money any day
$50.00-$200 buys you something real nice in other regions.
Always educational, witty, and very fun to watch. I like it when you have guests.
