This is a tremendous idea, I hate those small glasses especially at sushi and chinese places.
Completely agree with Chris on bringing your own wine and wine glasses, I hate nice restaurants that have cheap wine glasses. If they do not have good wine glasses bring your own and bringing your wine wine is a great thing as long as the corkage fee is not too crazy.
I feel weird enough bringing my own wine.

One of the most important accessories for a wine lover of any level.
Aside from bad food, nothing can ruin ruin a nice dinner out at a restaurant more than tiny wine glasses. Don’t even think twice next time you head out…give it a try and bring your own.

One time this restaurant wouldn’t let me use my own glasses. Needless to say I never went back!
Love the idea….Most of the small, Mom and Pop, Italian restaurants use those tiny thimble like wine glasses! To bad you can’t bring your own wine to 99% of the Maui Restauraunts! I had to drink up the six bottles we brought around the BBQ pits at the resort with “new” friends

Always thought the guys bringing their own queues to a pool bar must be either amazing or over the top pretentious. Has anybody stand up next to you and quiz you to find out?
