    Good point, I just could not buy the 09 knowing I could get 05 at 200. Prob will end up buying some at some point anyway.

    The 2005 Cos is mind blowing. It is drink beautifully today but will last for 5 years. the 03 too me is great but not in the same league.

    Bordeaux 2010, I am excited. Heading there in April to taste. I can’t afford the 09,10 so buying 04,06 and 08. Great interview.

    I hope the owners of COS buy something in Napa at some point. I think they could do some great things.

      The almost did, they were acquiring Chateau Montelena and in the middle of the paperwork the 2008 financial crisis hit and the deal fell apart…Napa is too boutique these days with the best, or most hyped wines, from extremely low production with only hundreds of cases as opposed to 10k-30k cases in Bordeaux on average for the big chateau, making an investment in Napa, without a lot of additioanl investment and work to expand the label and name, almost too small to be worth it in some cases. Its all about retired ceo’s setting up shop and making their own ultra-premium wine as their retirement…
