Nice article on PTV view the article here

My favorite wine in the world. The way cabernet should taste. Great job.
I used to love this wine but I think it has gone a little done in in recent vintages. I tasted the 2004 at the WS grand tasting it was a disappointment.
I think Solaia has the dge.
Chris, first of all I love the show and think you are doing a tremendous job. However when you taste these expensive wines I reccomend you taste an inexpensive wine with it so everyone can afford it. Just a thought. Thanks.
This is an awesome wine, so complex. To me it blows away the fruit juice from cali.:)
I could not disagree more, I just don’t get it with these super tuscans. To me they have no power to them..they just drop off. I guess different palates.
Eight years old is young? I think I’ll stick with Cali Cabs for 50 dollars and get three of them. I’m not gonna wait 20 years for it to mellow out. Interesting is not 160 bones, I will try it someday when???????I’m richer.
You are right Castello, to wait 20-30 years for the wine to drink in its prime is just not worth it for 160 bucks.
Taste a 1985 Sassicaia and everything that you say above will change!!
An 85 sassicaia would be near 1k or more.
