That is really funny about the wrinkled shirt, I can’t beleive someone commented:) This is a great chard year after year.
That shirt is wrinkled, This is perfect a solid 15 dollar chard is not easy to find.
I just can’t get into california chard way over oaked!!
That’s a generalization that is not always true. Santa Barbara region has many beautiful examples of non oaked chards. Get your hands on some Stony Hill Chardonnay St. Helena and you’ll take a new position, I promise.
Over the top Chards from Cali, I embrace this extreme style.
I could not have said that better.
i like when you review popular wines. makes it easier when i go to the store.
Good work Chris, that’s a real nice everywhere value play. Sometimes the Calcaire is under the radar shockingly good.
How can you dare go on camera with a wrinkled shirt, what is wrong with you. It is not about the wine but the ironed shirt!!
How about a Kistler episode?
My favorite chard is from the Frank Family not too expensive and actually from napa.
They make some great cabs as well especially their Winston Hill which is hard to get a hold of
I like the episode today nice and to the point and a great recommendation!
I agree with Scotty I think it is BS about this too much oak in Cali chards.
I love what you are going Chris. Love Clos Du Bois!!
