I have also been a big fan of Titus for the price in the past. I will need to try, I have a few 06’s in the cellar.

Chris: Thanks for checking out the wine. Sorry you weren’t able to make back over to our booth to discuss the wine. I would of liked to tasted you through the other wine I had available as well as taste out of a different bottle of Cab.

I hope you had a great time at the event despite the separation of the regular tasting and the Grand Tasting. I do agree about the separation being unnecessary and slightly elitist. I much prefer to be where the crowds are in order to introduce more people to the wine and stay connected to the pulse of an event.

Bruce: The two principles at Titus Vineyards are Eric Titus and Phillip Titus. It is a second generation vineyard. The connection you may be thinking about is Chappellet. Phillip Titus has been the wine maker at Chappellet for over 20 years. We feel closely tied to them for that fact. Other than that there is no relation. We are simply a small family brand.

Titus is usually a great value…check out the 2005.
