oh man, you get to travel everywhere. awesome!
Washington Caps???? Come on Chris!!
Really looking forward to your review of the NZ wines. I agree with you, tremendous blanc and pinot.
Riberas are some of my favorites. Went to Spain a few years back just to visit Hacienda Monasterio. Amazing region, great wines and the wineries there don’t get tours as tourist attractions yet so when we visited the cellermaster an winemaker both took us around and had us taste the wines right from the barrels. My backwash is in at least six! Then they made us lunch, unbelievable experience. If you ever get the chance to taste a Hacienda do it, they are worth seeking out and in fact, I rarely taste a wine from this region I don’t love.
I agree! I was lucky enough to try Vega-Unico and it blew me away. I feel like Ribera’s don’t get enough press.
Great show, really looking forward to hearing about syrah’s from New Zealand.
Great stuff Chris! Learning a lot.
