Great video, and I think that you did a great job of talking about tasting notes. In fact, this is one of the best descriptions of the challenges of tasting, and the intimidation factor for less experienced wine drinkers. I know I was always self conscious about the fact that I wasn’t picking up all the things that the guy next to me was getting. After a while I finally started realizing that everyone has different palates, and that I’m not always going to get the same thing as the guy next to me.
Outside is great, I always go out onto my balcony to get better aromas as we are usually cooking inside and it cab interfere with the true aromas. Great episode.
I agree, many times when I am cooking and drinking wine.at the same time .everything I taste and smell in the wine tastes and smells like what I am cooking. This is a great show with a great opening.

I have an amazing trip lined up. All the first growths,ausone,cheval blanc,angelus,las cases,loeville baron,montrose,beychevelle and the list goes on.
Great point about the 03 barolos being a great buy…I think it is going to be the same with the 07 bordeaux’s
