    Interesting episode. Just be sure to spell the varietals correctly! Petite sirah has no y in it!

    Clear and informative video tasting note, really enjoyed it! Although it is true, like you say, that Petite Sirah is not Syrah, they are indeed very related: that is because Petite Sirah is the child of the cross pollination of Peloursin with Syrah. This was verified by DNA fingerprinting at UC Davis in 1997.
