Big SA wine enthusiast! I also attended the show. I wasn’t impressed with Vilafonte, lacks balance and complexity. But agree with your Rustenberg comment, rockstar wines. Interesting your “weird” comment about Thelema…
I am a huge fan of the Vilafonte…I think it is a cross between cali and SA. I can understand you saying it is not as complex as some of the other wines. Thanks for the comment.
I love Safrican wines and am very happy you are trying to bring more attention to them. Nice job.
I find it to be hit or miss with SA wines, I need to try some of the ones that you reccomend.
Retail stores carry 3-4 south african wines each and usually the lower end wines. That is one of the major problems.
Does anyone know why there are not more SA wines in the states?
We need a priorat grand tasting update!!!!!
