A great super tuscan, does not get any better than that. They are typically a little too price. I think solaia price is ridiculous.

I had the caviliere when I was in Florence last year. Nice wine. In this economy prob would go with the chianti or straight sangiovese.
I want to apologize for being inaccurate with the amount of time that Baldassarre spent in oak, below is the accurate information.
Winemaking techniques: “Baldassarre” wine is aged for 2 years in oak barrels, for 2 years in oak barriques, followed by another 18 months in other types of noble wood and 6 months in-bottle refinement.
Super Tuscans are my second favorite wine behind brunello’s
I have a 2003 Sassicaia and want to know if you think I should open it or hold it? Thanks.
If possible I would hold off for a few years.
